Kuroda
I studied guitar at Los Angeles College of Music in Los Angeles. During the year after graduating, I released an EP with my original band, 3ANTRA, appeared on radio, toured and performed live. I also worked as a session guitarist, supporting other pop artists. I play a wide range of styles, including jazz, funk, blues, rock, bossa nova and R&B. During my studies, I studied with Carl Verheyen, Adam Levey and Brad Rabuchin, and tutored students in the earlier stages of the course. Since returning to Japan in March 2017, I have continued performing and collaborating with various artists. My priority is helping you enjoy playing. By learning your favourite songs, I hope you’ll grow to love the guitar even more. I can also teach in English on request, drawing on the language skills I developed while studying overseas.

Leo Asahina
After graduating from a specialist music college, I spent around five years performing in a dance and vocal group, appearing in more than 1,000 live shows. These included a headline concert at KT Zepp YOKOHAMA in 2022, tours across Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka, and international performances in Indonesia and Mongolia. During my time with the group, I contributed five or six songs, including ‘Shooting Star’, which peaked at No. 3 on Japan’s Oricon Singles Chart. In 2022, my second single, ‘Friday Midnight Magic’, reached No. 2 on the iTunes Store chart. In 2021, my debut single, ‘Reset My Life’, placed first in the Japanese qualifying round of the international Djooky Music Awards, advancing to the Asian round. I write and produce all my releases. Combining my experience in dance and vocal performance with the songwriting and vocal expression skills I developed while studying in the United States, I have established a distinctive artistic identity.
